This is one of the coolest uses of Perl that I've ever seen.

Hacking Perl in Nightclubs

If you've not seen Alex do this, then you should try to come and see him talking (and performing) at the next london.pm meeting on September 9th.

It sounds very cool, and it's potentially a great intro to get people hooked. But the first example uses the Curses module, and I could not find any PPM for ActiveState Perl 5.8, nor could I compile it with MSVC.

I really would like to try this out so does anyone know of a 5.8 PPM or how to build it with MSVC?

    TIA,

    /J

Does anybody know what happened to the Audio::OSC module that he uses? Is there a viable alternative, or should I roll my own?

If the first page of the article seems a bit vague go to the second one where all the treasures are hidden.
