Interface with ACT! (Symantec, Best) with Perl?

Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hello Monks,

I have searched over the months for any signs of a Perl interface to ACT! (The contact management system that was from Symantec and is now from 'Best' software).

If you have any pointers, I would appreciate them.

This isn't much of a lead, but as I recall, ACT! exposes a COM interface, in which case you can use Win32::OLE to work with it. If you've never used Win32::OLE before, Phil Roth's website has a lot of good information.	[reply]
