Came up with two ideas today that I'm pretty excited about thanks to discussions in the chatterbox with people or reading notes people left under Call for papers, errr... ideas.
The two ideas are:

• A way to set up an advanced search page that searches through the actual text of all the info on the site. All this functionality with some features that will allow these fairly expensive queries from bogging the site down. Thanks for getting me thinking neshura
  
  
• The option in user settings for a separate window to popup with the information from CPAN on a given module that we didn't have any results for. Right now it gives you a link to that but I might as well save you the effort of clicking your mouse once. Thanks for prompting this idea chromatic
