If 2 screens is the "scroll span" of the average user, then it needs to be one node per day and only one section. That'd suck as a web site. *shrug*
If you don't like scrolling, then certainly the front page is a lousy place for you to bookmark. If you don't like clicking (especially on a site that is rather slow compared to most web sites), then scrolling can be fabulous.
Yes, I saw the smiley; I still felt the point was worth commenting on.
