I saw this readme, but apparently it's wrong (unless my notion of the / is different than theirs). The actual structure is

$basepath = /tmp/par-cache/cache-nnnn (at least on Solaris)
files specified with --addfile are delivered to $basepath/inc (all wit
+h 0664 perm)
