Hello,

(ack'ment of off-topic-ness, apology, and justification drafted but omitted)

I changed jobs unceremoniously lately. The time between jobs was somewhat stressful;I do not remember my password at Perlmonks. When I enter either my former username (sailorsonoftailor) or my new email address (mgipson@tellme.com) I do not get email. Strictly speaking, I am expecting the system to handle two things at once ( a forgotten password AND an email change).

What I want: To resume my existence as sailorsonoftailor with my new email address. I will answer any necessary questions.

    I would assume this would fall under the same lines as Can I change my username?, ie. you should msg the gods begging for forgiveness and mercy and your old self back.

    /msg gods Can you change my name to 'sailorsonoftailor', which is in use by myself, but which I cannot re-assume because I have both forgotten my pw, and have started employment other than at my prior email address?

      What's that supposed to be? Have you actually /msg'd the gods (you know, in the chatterbox)?

        Sorry - I thought it was some kind of home grown tag. I will read the How do I use this? on the cb and try again.
