Actually, if you set your localtime up during DST, you probably chose the correct UTC to represent DST. Being in Texas, I chose UTC-6 and my time was incorrect during the DST period. I'd suggest you go change your localtime to UTC-5 by editing your settings.

I know of this since I had a brief discussion about UTC v. DST in the CB.
