tcf03 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

How do I get a files modification time from a windows box using perl? seems like I can get all sort of info, but I cant find that...

    See perldoc -f -X (shows a piece of the perlfunc manpage) for info on how to get all kinds of status from files.

    Have you looked at the built-in stat function?
