Is there something going on? I can surf this site, but cannot comment, every time I click comment, it gives me error message. It was okay about a hour ago.

Update:

It is back now! I think that I just bumped into a bad time that existed only couple of minutes.

As ikegami said, it was a bum patch that got applied, and then not exercised quite enough to notice the problem before someone complaigned on the CB about it. It was my fault, and I appologise for that. Please, downvote this node.

On the contrary .. patches to the site mean it is being supported and improved. I upvoted your node to recognize your effort -- even if the patch didn't work right this time around.

theorbtwo asked this because there is a sandbox to test out patches and this is not the first time this happened, however, I agree with you

A patch was applied, and it caused the problem. It was promptly rolled back until further testing can be performed.

Generally speaking if you encounter a bug on the site wait a bit, try again, if its still wrong bring it up in the CB first, or via /msg to one of the principle pmdevils. Usually it will be a momentary thing and will be fixed before you can report your bug, but if not definately ask in the CB about it. There is almost always a god around to respond, or a pmdevil who can explain or patch.

If all else fails report it in PMD, but usually that isn't necessary.

    thanks
