mosh has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi Monks, Have anyone heard about a perl module (or SW) that enables the interpreter to run over VxWorks OS with ports supporting, etc. ?

I made a small research and found nothing...

I can't believe that there's no such a thing !

Mosh.

If perl is not ported (looks like its not) to VxWorks, then there is no module that could magically port it (modules need perl).

You generally wouldn't need to look far for ports ( http://www.cpan.org/ports/).

You better believe it :) Re: Perl on VxWorks *

    I run a Win32 PPM repository for perl 5.6.x and 5.8.x -- I take requests (README).
