SVG.pm and Filters

hackdaddy has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I am trying to create the following SVG output using SVG.pm.

    <filter id="lightingColorC" filterUnits="objectBoundingBox" x="0%"
+ y="0%" width="100%" height="100%">
        <feSpecularLighting in="SourceGraphic" specularConstant="1" sp
+ecularExponent="1" surfaceScale="10" style="lighting-color:blue;" lig
+hting-color="blue">
            <feDistantLight azimuth="45" elevation="45"/>
        </feSpecularLighting>
    </filter>
</defs>

I can create the Filter element; however, I am unable to create the fe SpecularLighting child element or the fe DistantLight child element. The SVG.pm docs state the fe elements must be children of the Filter element.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

hackdaddy, After reading TFM myself, I would have phrased your question this way: TFM says that the fe elements must be children of the Filter element, but they don't have any explanation of how to do that. I know what I want to get to, but I have know idea how to write the code. Anyone know of better docs or can provide an example? When I can't figure something out from the docs, I tend to check the test suite to see if they have an example. In this case you are in luck - see 18-filter.pl from the test suite.
