well, i posted a couple days ago about this, and the 2 comments i received both mentioned auctioning off the set of TPJs i have and no longer want.

i'll donate the proceeds to The Perl Foundation on this auction. so drive the price up!

    Wow. This is the first time I saw the price of an eBay auction more than double in a very short period. Apparently, someone had their maximum bid at 125 :). It's worth it, though!

    It's at 127.50 now, my maximum for now is at 130. I dislike automatic bidding and don't want to spend too much.

      the best part .. the starting bid was one cent.

      i'm glad it's going somewhere good ... but i still almost wish i said i'd split it w/ TPF ...

    I'd bid but i'm in The Netherlands and you're not shipping that far.
      i could swear i said i'd ship it internationally,because i will.

      EDIT:

      from the listing:

      Ship-to locations: Will ship to Worldwide

    Alright, I am the high bidder at $0.01!!!

    Let the bidding wars begin ;-)

      Well, it's still yours, but I've managed to push your bid up by a few dollars...

        If you drive it up past $10 it can be yours ;-)

    It's reached my absolute maximum, but surely this auction won't end without a final fight? Will it?

    Come on, bid some more. It's for TPF, after all. Probably something can be arranged to make it deductable from taxes, even :) (Ask geektron for confirmation, though)

    Juerd # { site => 'juerd.nl', plp_site => 'plp.juerd.nl', do_not_use => 'spamtrap' }

      i have no idea how to make the purchase tax-deductible, other than to submit the receipt to our accountant ..

        Let the buyer pay to TPF directly and let them handle this. This requires trust, though. And the name in the Fund Drive Status page is different.
