My vote is no.. extremely doubtful that communication would/could take without a standardized or home rolled communication path.

Well, there is one existing communication path he could use: a file share. By periodically dumping the process list to disk, it could be made available remotely. He could even consider the creation of a certain file as a request to update the process list, if he absolutely need the latest list. But both of those solutions still needs extra software running on the server.	[reply]
