FWIW, ASP is ok when used with Perlscript. I choose not to use PHP because I already know a similar language that does the same and more.

Is there a repository for PHP similar to CPAN? There are so many powerful modules on CPAN that I wouldn't know where to begin to brag as a Perl coder.

    PHP Extension and Application Repository

    PEAR

    It's not quite up to CPAN's standards, but it serves a similar purpose for PHP that CPAN does for Perl.
