I need to build a shopping cart where people will purchase PDF's and get to download them immediately.

Does anyone know of any good Perl scripts, code excerpts, or implementation suggestions for doing this?

I looked at Apache::OneTimeDownload, does this come with the standard distribution of Perl?

    No, you'll have to install it from CPAN.

    If you're not an experienced developer, I'd urge you to start by finding and modifying an existing shopping solution rather than building one up from snippets and suggestions.

    Have you looked at the existing open-source solutions and decided that none of them already do what you want?

      I've looked on SourceForge and HotScripts but all the implementations were in PHP. I'd really like to stick to Perl.
