in reply to Seti@home and Perlmonks

I just got a new pc on which I installed solaris 8 x86. I don't do much with it so installed seti@home on it using about 90% of my cpu power. I wanmt to know if there any cool things I can do with perl and seti@home.

Uh, short answer: No. Setiathome is closed source app, so, short of storing your stats, there is nothing you can really do to interface Perl with setiathome, or vice versa. See Ovid's home node for an example of how to retrieve some relevant perlmonks data in a CGI script.
