Slick. Very slick. ++!

I couldn't help, when reading:

To the top of the porch! To the top of the wall!

Thinking:

seek PORCH, 0, 0; seek WALL, 0, 0;

Does this mean I've been coding too long today?

    Perhaps, perhaps indeed.

    So far, my history of Perl Poetry has been somewhat inverted from the typical style found in these parts -- rather than try to make perl code actually look poetic I usually try and encode a pun or ironic point into the structure and execution, aesthetics be damned!

    It could be more obfu than poetic. <shrug>
    Matt

      I certainly didn't mean to criticise you. This is a fantastic piece of poetry, and the fact that running it produces the plain-text version of the verse is great!
