in thread Long CGI process is cut short by browser

I just did a search of my WinXP registry and didn't come across that key. Also, I have set my Apache TimeOut to 15minutes, let it run for 14, and had it work with both IE and Firefox.

*shrugs*

Being right, does not endow the right to be rude; politeness costs nothing.
Being unknowing, is not the same as being stupid.
Expressing a contrary opinion, whether to the individual or the group, is more often a sign of deeper thought than of cantankerous belligerence.
Do not mistake your goals as the only goals; your opinion as the only opinion; your confidence as correctness. Saying you know better is not the same as explaining you know better.

As mentioned, v5+ has an internal default timeout of 60mins. I suspect you're testing with a newer version of IE?

Also, that key does not exist in the registry by default, you need to create it if you're looking to adjust the timeout. See this article for more info: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q181050/
