I probably throw the curve off on this one. As a sysadmin perl addict, I usually have open sessions on perhaps a quarter of the systems I administer, which always puts it over 7.

I must admit, I love windows. I perfer to code with two or more terminals - one with my source open in vi, one actually running things. And perhaps a third with a data file I'm working with or other reference material.

/me shudders. Yeap, windows, as in X, not Windows, as in the bells-and-whistles-yet-signifying-nothing virus that is marketed as an operating system. Perhaps that's a bit rough, Windows has come a long way. I just prefer UN*X in all it's flavors. No flame wars, all have their uses.
