in thread Running Tk::Zinc on Windows

After being ripped off by Microsoft Software over the years, I have vowed to not pay more than $5 for any Micrsosoft OS. When Window's XP is on ebay, for $5, maybe I'll grab a cd. :-)

Well http://www.tkzinc.org/index.php/Main/Download says it doesn't work on Windows 98, so there you go
Well, it does! I installed it manually, like Courage suggested and it works fine on Me ( and I guess 98 and 95). I think it's possible that people putting the package together didn't want to bother with supporting old windows versions, possibly exacerbated by Microsoft's constant push to force people to upgrade, reflected by the installers OS-version check. Althought it may have something to do with assuring OpenGl would work, although Zinc can be used without Gl, and I normally never use Gl anyways.

Well, the point is that making Tk::zinc available on old hosts like win98 or winMe both requires having such hosts and also test on it. So that is a lot of work for few expected results...

Any way thanks to your tests...
