Using Super Search for task, and looking for posts by PodMaster, I found these two posts that should get you a long way towards your goal:

• tasklist.pl - dump win32 tasklist along with metadata - this one shows how to get the list of currently active tasks
• Getting Windows App Info with Perl - the replies to this question mention the Win32::Process module, that should give you lots of information

If you have further questions, you will have to post some code together with your question.

I get an error about Win::OLE::const
apearently one of the lines on the file is cousing an error
I belive I am missing a file but I don't know which
If any one can help?

Where do you get the error? What is the exact text of the error? What is the exact code you are running?

I will also need the exact version of Perl (perl -v tells you this). The Win32 modules do not work under any other operating system than Windows.
