pcouderc has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I am trying to parse an email in MIME.
Is there a sample of code somewhere that do that?
I want to separate the body from joined parts and put joined parts in some files. I cannot predict the type of joined part received (and in fact I do not care , I want only put it in a file)

Thnk you in advance

There are many CPAN modules available for parsing MIME documents. In particular, MIME::Parser and MIME::Tools. Both modules have abundant documentation and examples.

Maybe overkill, but I believe Mail-Box might be useful to you.

All code is usually tested, but rarely trusted.
      Merci à tous!
