If that is the case, reduce your code and data to the smallest possible example that still demonstrates the problem. At that point, the solution should be obvious. It looks to me as if your ...... section is modifying @fileid. Just cause you always did it that way doesn't mean you should continue to do so. If everyone took that attitude, progress would stop cause no-one would ever improve their methods. :-) Being right, does not endow the right to be rude; politeness costs nothing. Being unknowing, is not the same as being stupid. Expressing a contrary opinion, whether to the individual or the group, is more often a sign of deeper thought than of cantankerous belligerence. Do not mistake your goals as the only goals; your opinion as the only opinion; your confidence as correctness. Saying you know better is not the same as explaining you know better.	[reply]

Yeah, I am not touching my array at all, but I'll have to check through every single piece of code between "right" and "wrong" to see where it is happenning. I will certainly take a look at that module, thanks for the tip!	[reply]
