If OpenSource had existed since the begining of programming, there wouldn't be so much languages today ("...The idea was that no web application developer should duplicate research or expend energy solving a problem that had already been solved by someone else ..."). Just those that would have proved to be efective.

But today, to have a new commercial programming language is to count with a number of followers that keep a tendency to the company's products. Every old commercial company is still ahead of the non-proffit programing comunity because they had a commercial motivation to keep on developing above the communicative noise + missinformation that ruled the web.

Just for creating commercial tendencies, there should be better new programming languages given for free to everyone. And (thankfully) there are not so much. So, when facing the creative limits, they need to find mistakes on the competence.
