Hello All,

I'm having some problem with the File::Spec module's rel2abs() method when working in a CGI environment, basically, when a call is made like this:

#!/usr/bin/perl 

use CGI::Carp "fatalsToBrowser"; 
use File::Spec; 
use CGI qw(:standard); 

print header(); 
print File::Spec->rel2abs(__FILE__);
[download]

via webbrowser - it'll just hang forever.

Via the command line, it'll come back with the correct answer right away.

Here's the ENV:

bash-2.05b$ perl -v

This is perl, v5.8.2 built for i386-freebsd
[download]

and,

Is there something I'm missing that may lead me to more clues?
