I am in the process of writing my second Perl book for MacMillan and am seeking volunteers to look over the code and the information in the book before it goes to the publisher.

My last book was done with a couple of dozen Perl people looking over my shoulder and it was a great success. I'd like to try it again.

If you're interested, drop by the book's site and read more on what's going on.

Interesting, I wish there was a snippet of the style of the book available publicly. I'd kind of like to know what I'm signing up for before giving up my name and password. All we know is PDD...

that means Perl Developers Dictionary and would have been clear to you if you would have followed the provided link :-)
and your privacy seems to be granted as stated by the authors word.

      Have a nice day
All decision is left to your taste
Umm I had to read the link to know PDD too. What I said was I'd like to see a sample of how the book was going to work first. Like, is it Perl Cookbook style, a sort of hyper-indexed perldoc, prgramming tips, etc. I'm not worried about my privacy, I'd just like to know a little more about the style of book before signing up is all.

I kinda suck at deep perl innards but I'm pretty good at putting things together in context. Seems like a real hassle to go thru just to find out if I want to help.
