Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I'd like my perl program to realize that STDIN is not a tty and adjust if that's the case, without being told in any other way that that's the case. Is there a way to test a filehandle for its being a tty? Much thanks in advance, Greg
