    I'm not a big fan of "about.com" but they have a pretty good tutorial on cookies. I used it to teach myself how to get started. Quick code example below.

    Along with the suggestions already given, I'd recommend you Super Search for cookie and search cpan for cookie, CGI::Cookie, Apache::Cookie, and HTTP::Cookie immediately come to mind. Should give you a solid starting point.

    Actually while Super Searching for Cookie, I found one of my old posts, which I had completely forgotten about (proably on purpose) - guess you never know what you'll find :).
