    This brings up an interesting and kinda-related question - how is mod_perl2 / Apache::DBI going to handle this if the threaded model is used?

    Expressing a contrary opinion, whether to the individual or the group, is more often a sign of deeper thought than of cantankerous belligerence.
    Do not mistake your goals as the only goals; your opinion as the only opinion; your confidence as correctness. Saying you know better is not the same as explaining you know better.

      It works fine as long as the DBD in question is thread-safe. Some work has been done to allow sharing of database handles between threads, but that is incomplete.
