RMGir has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

A colleague and I were discussing perl configuration, mentioning funny things like references to Eunice (as in, "Congratulations. You aren't running Eunice.")

I was looking for The Perl Journal cover with the results of configuring perl on a classic typewriter ("*** WHOA THERE!!! No '1' key found. Using 'l' instead.) but I can't find the image online anywhere.

Does anyone have a (legal) link to the image? I have the magazine, but it's somewhere at the bottom of a box in storage so it's a bit too far to dig for "hey, if you thought the Eunice line was funny, check _this_ out" :).

I have that issue at home too -- I think that was the first one I bought. I just checked the TPJ web-site (I think my subscription is still current...) but I didn't see any hint of cover art from years ago.

To make matters worse, after logging in and hitting the "My Account" link (to see if I needed up re-up), I got a server error with one of those long, ugly java trace dumps ("java.lang.NullPointerException at ...") --- BUMMER.

What is this world coming to, when TPJ's archive site hits you with a frickin' java error???
