Do any OCR (Optical Character Recognition) modules exist in Perl ?

Not related to perl, but the Sane project's scanner UI has an "OCR" button which actually works pretty well. Does anybody know where the implemenation to this is?	[reply]

If I remember correctly, it relies/requires [gj]ocr to do its thing. HTH -- Olivier	[reply]
