Just thought I'd toss this out there...

I expect Perl 6 discussion to be an up-and-coming thing over the next few months. It might be nice to have an easy way to link to a Perl 6 RFC. This probably won't be useful for a while (it seems to me like most of the monks have been avoiding Perl 6 like the black plague), not until development really gets cranking. Something to consider more than anything else.

For example, if I tapped in "You should really avoid using the => operator like that. Not only is it bad form, but the Perl 6 team is considering Damian Conway's proposal: [rfc://84] which would effectively render this useless." One would expect the link to expand out to "Replace => (stringifying comma) with..." It would also be nice to be able to do the "reverse", ie: [rfc://stringifying comma] and have a list of matching RFC titles appear, ala Search Results.

That sounds like a good idea; similar to the isbn:// thread. It may be better to do p6rfc:// instead of rfc:// (incidentally, on a related note, the ability to link to IETF RFC's would be spiffy as well.. I'd write a HTCPTP client in Perl.. (Hyper-text Coffee Pot Transfer Protocol. 418 I'm a teapot))!
