        I think they just let the pigeons sort through mounds of Bayesian spam filter chum until they came up with a functioning webmail app (a new twist on infinite monkeys . . .).

        (Seriously, I have no idea. If you look at their job openings most of them are for C++ or Java and a smattering of Other (Perl, Python, et al), so one of those would be a safe guess).
