I did better than that! I removed all the references to CGI as spurious! This has removed the software error (Why, anybody?) I now get the server message: `'D:\inetpub\wwwroot\017172\1sdhpnc1\cgi-bin\cm_update.pl' script produ +ced no output` [download] Once again I have just tested in unix and it works okay. What could be the problem? (I have checked that LWP::Simple resides on the server...	[reply] [d/l]
