Test Data parser?

samizdat has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Has anyone run across or built a parser for the Standard Test Data Format binary files that come from chip testers? I've got File::Binary, which will help me pull in the big-endian SPARC-generated files and convert them, but if somebody's done the parser work, it'd be helpful. :D

The web page http://mrhackerott.org/semiconductor-informatics/informatics/ has some perl programs that manipulate STDF version 4 and so contain parsers. I don't know of any standalone modules. -Mark	[reply]
