I searched this site. Problem is, that I really do not know what to search for.

Problem is, I'd really like to understand all these shortcuts like OT, OP (original post), DWDHWHSI or something like this.

You know what I am talking about? Is there a node describing the general and specific shortcuts used by experienced monks?

PS: I am not very advanced in participating in discussion groups, web forums or newsgroups. And... if there is no node here, I'd volunteer to create one, if approved.

I have a link to a node I wrote from my Perlmonks Survival Guide: Re: Acronyms. (Perlmonks-specific Acronyms), you might find some goodies there. I know that someone else wrote a list more recently but I've lost its number; it contained the same material in any event.

    Hope this helps (HTH)

I beleive the node you mean is: Guide to PerlMonks Acronyms and Abbreviations which is I think the "official" version of your list (and iirc taken from it too, although i dont see any direct attribution as to its origin). And yes the pesky thing was quite annoying to find I agree. :-)

Theo has a list on his homenode that is, AFAIK, complete.

    Update: Added slight clarification.
