Being a UNIX junkie I am used to using
perldoc perlsyn
(for example) if I want to peruse the perlsyn man pages. As a result, I am often confounded by entering
perldoc:perlsyn
in the Search box rather than the correct form
perlman:perlsyn
...which invariably leads me to a "Nothing found" result.

Would it be of value to anyone else if the perldoc: form led to the same place as the perlman: form?

In the interests of saving everyone a few keystrokes, try just perlsyn.
