++! That's exactly how it happened for me. I got caught by an unpleasant problem, and strict showed me the path back to reason and sanity. It was a real epiphany. Nice poem!	[reply]

Thanks :-) I am continually amazed by Perl. I'll see some funky bit to the language and think, "Now why on earth would they do that?". Then I'll learn a bit more, and have that wonderful "AHA!" moment. It's humbling, really. -David	[reply]
