Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I'm a perl beginner and I was wondering if anyone can help me with this problem. I read an excel spreadsheet like this: sheet.xls
name Dallas Miami Tom 1.00 1.00 Dan 2.50 2.50 Allen 5.50 2.50
Then I use references to sort the table by name and add a Total column and row to the screen output so it would look like this when I print it to the screen:
name Dallas Miami Total Allen 5.50 2.50 8.00 Dan 2.50 2.50 5.00 Tom 1.00 1.00 2.00 Total 9.00 6.00 15.00
Thanks for the help.

So what do you need help with? You can't expect people to write the code for you.

If you need help with a specific question, this is the place to ask. But we expect to see some effort first.

I don't see a question in there. What's the problem?
