All,
After reading the release notification, it is easy to lose sight of the fact that the project is less than 2 months old. Regardless of your feelings on Parrot, Ponie, or Perl6 - you should take 15 minutes to check out Pugs.

Cheers - L~R

Re: Pugs 6.0.12 released

The .12 makes me think the version number won't be approaching 2π. Sad.
      ysth,

Much of 6.2 is already in 6.0.12 actually.

6.2: Basic IO and control flow elements; mutable variables; assignment.
We have basic IO and most of the stardard control flow statements (for, if, else, elsif, unless, while & until are all there and tested). Mutable variables is getting there (I just did some tests for those today). Assignment is mostly in place as well. I believe that the plan is for 6.2 to hopefully be released shortly after the YAPC::Taiwan Pugs Hack-a-thon.

As for 6.28 (Classes and traits) I just commited the first tests for those features the other day.
