bhilton has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Here's my situation. I'm interfacing with a command-line program over a serial line. The serial line is plugged into a terminal server, so it's a Net::Telnet connection to me. I need to send a file over this connection via zmodem.

Any ideas?

    Can you use system commands for the zmodem part?

    i.e. zsend and zreceive

      I was going to try that as a last resort, but I'd prefer to keep this platform-independent.
