    Ok, here's what you should do:
    1 - follow the advice you got when you last posted this here
    2 - make at least some detectable effort to narrow down your problem
    3 - come clean on whether or not this is homework. Monks who aren't sure will likely not give you any advice

    Honestly, this is a very friendly and helpful site, but you have to meet us half way at least!

    If you put the following line at the top of your script near "require" you may get something more helpful than a 500 error message:

    use CGI::Carp qw(fatalsToBrowser);

      But don't forget to change it to

      use CGI::Carp;

      before putting the script live. That way you still get the error messages in your server log, but the crackers don't get useful clues to your server setup from your error messages.

    For us to help you must at the very least tell us what is going wrong.
    When you get a 500 error it is usually because the program has die()ed before producing valid output. The message it died with can be found in your server logs.
    So find the entry in the logs where your program failed and the error message within should point you towards the solution.
