I saw this on a web site
<?perl These two rows set begining of perl script and ... ?>
Can perl/cgi codes REALLY be instered into .html pages and be executed like this??

    Check out Embperl. With this, yes... it's very possible! I don't think the syntax you cite is the Embperl one - perhaps another perl parser out there - I'm pretty sure there are a few.

    And those PHP folks still think they're such hot stuff. :-)

      So this would only work on web servers that have these perl parsers installed?

      This is pretty neat, I may give it a go.. I've been doing SSI to include CGI scripts for far too long now!
