my ($meet,undef) = split /,/,"traveller,antique land"; my $hear = &$meet(); sub traveller { @desert= ("leg of stone"); push @desert,$desert[0]; pedestal(); $name = undef; map{print "sand "}(10**10); } sub pedestal { $name = "Ozymandias King of Kings"; $mighty = eval "$works && $despair"; }

Update: Altered 'pedestal' to be closer to the original, at nimdokk's suggestion.

Update: s/ancient/antique/ ;-)

    shouldn't that last bit in sub pedestal read:

    $mighty = eval "$works" && despair();

    Of course despair() needs to be defined someplace :-)
