Not strictly related but I thought I'd mention that there are also RSS feeds to perlmonks available at ~~http://prlmnks.org/rss~~http://prlmnks.org/rss-feeds.html. You can subscribe to overview feeds such as 'new questions' or 'new meditations'. You can also subscribe to feeds for individual nodes to see if they have any replies. For example this node could be watched using http://prlmnks.org/rss/458722.xml. Why not place a meta link in each PM node that allows RSS-aware browsers, such as Mozilla's Firefox, to offer a "Live Bookmark"?	[reply]

Useful information, it's probably worth putting it into the XML generators help page. Btw the 1st link http://prlmnks.org/rss comes back with error "403 Forbidden".	[reply]
