sys/types.h is a standard c header, and it comes with the microsoft compiler. Running vcvars32.bat ought to set the appropriate enviroment variables. You can get PPM from CPAN.

My target production server has no development environment at all so I can't run vcvars32.bat. However.... ++ on all the great PPM links and information which should solve any future problems install modules. :-)	[reply]
