And ... what has the fact you are running under XP has to do with modules? /me does too and I have no problem installing modules. Maybe you want also have a look at A guide to installing modules for Win32.

    Thanks for the info. I now have it working. The problem with XP is that ppm only has a limitind number of modules, and I don't have a c-complier (I'm working in a very restrictive research environment)
