    Hi Gopal.R,

are you sure you need to convert the .PL file to a .DLL?

Shared libraries, like .dll files, require advanced programming skills beyond the standard "put together a program" model.

And attempting to make a dynamically loaded library out of a Perl file is something that, while potentially possible, could also be a cry for help.. one of misunderstanding?

Are you attempting to get your Perl file to perform a function on behalf of another program, written in a programming language such as Visual Basic? Is this why you'd like a plug in API?

Other approaches may be possible.. using sockets for example to communicate between a Perl program and a Visual Basic application (I'm in no way promoting Visual Basic here)..

Perhaps if you update your question with some specifics as to why you want a .dll file you may find some more assistance through this forum.
