Dear monks,

I have suddenly taken an interest in Corba, and noticed there is a pure perl implementation (called COPE). Development seems to have ended somewhere in 2000. Perhaps this is because the release was entirely stable and free of bugs, but maybe there are other reasons. Does anyone know the fate of COPE? Also, any other (better) recommendations for either i) pure perl ORBs, ii) bindings with TAO, iii) bindings with jacOrb?
