Monks,

Since YAPC 2005 is less than a week away now I went perusing the Monastery in search of posts regarding the upcoming event. There's a YAPC Wiki Perlmonks BOF page. I came across YAPC::NA::2005 to be held in Toronto from several months ago. talexb mentioned a possible (BBQ|Jam\ Session).

I'm willing to pack my drum across the border if it means the opportunity to lay down some beats with my fellow monks. Come on, put the keyboard down, pick up your favorite instrument and come jam with your fellow monasterians! We'll have a funky good time!

I'm afraid that the "off hours" have already been completely filled with scheduled activities. I am hoping we can make it to this bar I know there where they have a menu of a few hundred beers though.

There's certainly room for more activities. 300+ people aren't all going to want to do the same thing. (I wonder what the latest registration tally is?)

Besides, nothing has been scheduled between midnight and 9am (at least, not that I've seen). So all night jam sessions might be in order (but I plan to get some sleep in there somewhere :)
